Eccleston Breaks Silence

Christopher Eccleston broke his silence today about his exit from "Doctor Who" after just one season. Much to the surprise of the befuddled who actually believed that silliness about him leaving having been planned all along, Eccles noted that it was the "culture and environment" which led him to leave. Personally, I remain very disappointed at his early exit. As a long time Who fan, he is the only "modern" Doctor I've ever really taken to, so his exit after so short a period was a major blow. It is further sad to learn that it might not have had to have been the case had things been different.
